Affiliate Disclosure
SysDVR.net is a free, independent resource site. To cover hosting and the time it takes to test and document everything, some links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains how that works — plainly, with no fine print tricks.
How affiliate links work here
When a product link is an affiliate link, it usually passes through a short /go/ address on this site and then to the retailer. If you buy something after clicking, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price you pay.
Programs we participate in
SysDVR.net is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (and equivalent Amazon programs in other regions), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties. We also work, or may work in the future, with affiliate networks and programs including Impact (for example Razer and Logitech G), CJ, Partnerize, and the AVerMedia partnership program.
What is never for sale
Our technical guidance. SysDVR itself is free and open source, and we say so wherever it is the right answer — including on pages that also recommend paid hardware. Capture cards and accessories are recommended only where they genuinely do something SysDVR cannot (for example 1080p60 capture, or streaming from an unmodified console). No brand pays for placement in our comparisons, and commissions do not change our verdicts, our hashes, or our download links, which always point to the official release first.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock change constantly. The price shown on the retailer’s site at checkout is the one that applies, even if a guide on this site mentions a different figure.
